The title on your business card can really make the difference between getting that meeting, or not!
Yes, having a Vice President or Managing Director title can make all the difference in getting a meeting or being ignored. Seems incongruous, but it is what it is. Particularly in Asia, where face-to-face meetings still rule the roost over virtual meetings (albeit steadily transitioning).
So make sure to equip your sales team with appropriate Director/VP titles and set them loose to go out and conquer! But remember the golden rule when handing out business cards in Asia - use two hands to present your card, and when you accept a business card, make sure to read it and acknowledge your host's title. Very important...
